Kevin Wood
Co-Founder & Executive Appraiser
With over 24 years of experience spanning insurance carrier operations and general contracting, Kevin brings a rare dual-perspective to dispute resolution. A graduate of Texas Tech University, he is currently a licensed Public Adjuster serving Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida.

Professional Journey
Kevin’s career began in the insurance sector, where he advanced from Claims Adjuster to Commercial Claim Manager, working with major carriers including State Farm, Nationwide, and Travelers. He later transitioned to the construction side as co-owner of Pro-Craft General Contractors. There, he spearheaded a cultural and organizational overhaul that tripled revenue in three years and launched a specialized mitigation sister company, Pro-Craft Restoration.

Current Focus
Today, Kevin actively serves as a fair arbitrator and appraiser for both consumers and insurance carriers. He is also a sought-after umpire for complex residential and commercial disputes.

• Designation Coursework: Associate in Claims (AIC) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
• Public Adjuster: Licensed in TX, OK, FL (2020)
• All-Lines Adjuster: Licensed since 1998

Steve Dodson
Co-Founder | Independent Claim Adjuster
A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Steve brings over 27 years of deep insurance industry experience to the team. His extensive background includes serving as both Claims Associate and Claims Manager for major carriers, including Empire Fire & Marine, General Casualty, Allied, Nationwide, and Stillwater Insurance.

Entrepreneurial Focus
In addition to co-founding Comprehensive Claim Appraisal, Steve actively owns and operates Flatrock Adjusting & Consulting, Inc. based in Phoenix, AZ. This dual role keeps him on the cutting edge of independent adjusting and consulting standards.

Technical Expertise & Certifications
Steve is highly proficient in estimation technology and industry standards. He holds a Level 2 Xactimate Certification, the industry-standard software for property claims estimation.

• Licenses: Licensed Independent Claim Adjuster in Arizona, Texas, and Florida.
• Designations: Associate In Claims (AIC) earned in 2007.
• Memberships: Associate Member of the Insurance Appraisal and Umpire Association Inc (IAUA).
